Modeled after a musical horn’s coiled shape, the Horn decanter is a homage to the RIEDEL family’s central European heritage in Austria and Bohemia. The Horn decanter was inspired by the iconic insignia that symbolizes the Austrian Post’s mail delivery system. Like many other coiled decanters by RIEDEL, the Horn decanter “double-decants” wine, a technology developed by RIEDEL to accelerate the aeration of wine by the creation of a vacuum within the vessel.
Requiring three master glassblowers’ to create this unique piece, the Horn features two openings on either end, the larger of which is to be used for both receiving and pouring wine. The decanter’s clear crystal color is accented by a large regal golden yellow stripe outlined by two black lines following the contours of its curved silhouette.

Our Cabernet Franc is full-bodied and firm. This amazing wine delivers wonderful flavours of juicy currants, spice and oak mingle on the palate. Lingering notes of red currant, blackberry, black tea, baking spice and red licorice on an extra-dry finish. Hand harvested from our estate owned Carlton Farm and Clark Farm Vineyards in the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation.
Through extensive skin contact and barrel malolactic fermentation we have developed a wine with great complexity and depth of flavour. Aged for 18 months in 100% French oak barrels. (30% new oak). Selected barrel lots of Cabernet Franc were individually tasted and the top 24 barrels were selected for their structure, fruit concentration, mouth-feel, level of acidity and potential ageability.
A bright garnet colour with an aromatic bouquet of red currant, tobacco leaf, humidor, spice box, oak and a hint of campfire wood.
